Shinju, meaning “Pearl”, was born from the slopes of the great Mt. Fuji, Japan’s highest and most sacred mountain. The ancient Japanese believed that pearls were the tears of Angels ‘born of the water”. Their distillery is situated on the southeastern flank of Mount Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture which makes the sacred mountain its sole water source. Their “White Pearl” blend is a proprietary blend of this pristine alpine water source and four distinct whisky expressions carefully crafted by their Master Distiller, each of which have been aged 2-4 years in new and mature American white oak barrels to give Shinju its rich caramel color and distinct flavor profile.
Nose: Honey, orange, and vanilla.
Palate: Herbaceous notes and light oak.
Finish: A soft texture and hints of oak on the finish.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
