Impressive stuff from French producer Jules Gautret, a rosé Pineau des Charentes produced with merlot grapes. This sweet wine is created by adding grape spirit, in this case, Cognac, to unfermented grape juice. The blend is rested for at least a year in oak barrels resulting in a rewardingly soft texture and elegant depth of flavor. Ought to make fab pre-dinner sipper.
Nose: Sweet chocolate and forest fruits with a hint of vanilla.
Palate: Dark chocolate, vanilla, and spiced honey with dried cherries and forest fruits.
Finish: Smooth and long sweet finish with a hint of spice.

A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
