The Hakushu 18 Peated Malt is made up of carefully selected malt whiskies all aged for a minimum of 18 years in various casks, created in honor of Suntory Whisky’s centenary. The Hakushu Distillery blenders work with peat, while softening the palate using the exceptional mountain water of the area, filtered through ancient granite rocks. Refined and elegant, this centennial Hakushu Peated Malt brings smoke that is less strong, never dominant and in typical Japanese style, more complex and gentle. The result is a spicy, peppery welcome, a slow wave of smoke that deepens as it reveals its herbaceous notes and green fruity undertones.
Nose: Subtle peat smoke with hints of floral and fruity notes.
Palate: Well-balanced peatiness with spicy pepper, smoke, herbs, and fruits.
Finish: Lingering smoke with a touch of spice.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
