The rum is a blend of 70% 6-year-old column-still Salvadorean rum, 15% unaged Jamaican pot-still rum, and 15% 3-year-old Jamaican rum. It's made with local sugar cane and aged in white oak ex-bourbon barrels. The Salvadorean rum is produced at the Licorera Cihuatán distillery under the watchful eye of blender and Master Distiller Gabriella Ayala. First, the sugar cane is milled using a 100-year-old mill, then the molasses ferment for 36 hours before they are distilled. The rum is then aged with a high yearly angel's share of 8%.
Nose: Banana, and pineapple, with raisin and prune notes.
Palate: Tropical, caramel, creamy chocolate, roasted almond, and dried apricot.
Finish: Dry and slightly warming.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
