Founded in 1779, Bowmore is the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Islay. Its delicately peated, well-balanced spirit has been an inspiration for many a whisky lover for many years. From its initial filling into a Sherry butt, this Bowmore single malt has matured for its final four years in a fresh port pipe. The influence of the fresh port cask has created this balanced, complex, and truly wonderful drama. A favorite within our Whisky Creations Team, which showcases the Art of Maturation.
Nose: Sea spray and smoke, peaty, floral. The whisky has a deep golden color and a smoky, peaty aroma.
Palate: Earthy, medicinal, and sweet smoke. On the palate, it is smooth and mellow with notes of honey, vanilla, and a hint of smoke.
Finish: 1st Fill Port pipe. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of spice.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
