We worked with acclaimed violinist Nicola Benedetti on Rare Cask, 2022 Release. Drawing on creativity and mastery, she reflects on the flavor notes of this special release: “There is a point where all the elements of a work of art come together and overwhelm your senses. I can appreciate the aromas of spice, raisin and the slightly nutty flavor. I have always had a sensitive reaction to scents, just like the playing of a note or unveiling of a chord. The smell of oak transports me back home to long weekend walks through the Auchinleck fields and glens near my Scottish hometown, Ayrshire. It has a feel to it that can only be experienced in Scotland. Experiencing the greatest of creations is something we can’t fully explain. But we feel every bit of it.”
Nose: Soft vanilla with raisin, followed by fresh apple, lemon, and orange.
Palate: Sweet raisin, vanilla, and dark chocolate, with layers of light citrus zest.
Finish: Long, rich, and velvety finish.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
