Verde Momento is made with 8 year old agave Espadin by mezcalero Doroteo Garcia in Tlacolula, Oaxaca. The agaves are cooked in an underground oven using ocote, holm oak, and peppertree which give the mezcal a smokiness desirable for cocktails. After cooking for about 5 days, the agaves are tahona-crushed before being put into 1,500-liter fermentation vats. The natural fermentation can last from 7 to 30 days depending on the production season, the amount of rain, and variations in temperature. Finally, it is double distilled in a 500-liter copper still. Verde Momento is packaged in many different labels, however, they are all the same mezcal.
Nose: Grass, soft smoke, and fresh peach.
Palate: Rich and spicy, with juicy fruit integrated with cinnamon spice.
Finish: A welcoming kick of black pepper in the finish.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
