Newton Vineyard was one of the first wineries in the Spring Mountain AVA (American Viticultural Area) in Napa Valley, established in 1977 by Dr Su Hua and Peter Newton. In 1990, Newton was the first winery to produce and sell an unfiltered Chardonnay within the United States, making it a pioneer in the Napa wine industry. While the Chardonnay tends to be Newton's most well-known and popular wine, it also produces powerful red wines that have become renowned across the world. The Spring Mountain property lies on a steep slope with altitudes ranging between 490 to 1600 feet (150 to 490 meters) in the Mayacamas Mountain range, which separates Napa Valley from Sonoma County. In total the Newton estate is divided into 112 parcels, all planted to specific varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Chardonnay.
Nose: Licorice, blueberry, couverture, and aged tobacco.
Palate: Mulberry and blackberry fruit complimented by chocolate and aniseed.
Finish: Luscious mouth-filling tannins balance the rich fruit to provide great length.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
