The Taketsuru Pure Malt was named after the founder of Nikka, Masataka Taketsuru, who is also known as the father of Japanese whisky. You can imagine that this blend must be pretty legendary to be named after such an important figure. Extremely smooth, with a burst of intensity on the palate, which mellows out in the finish, taste the oak, tropical fruit, and subtle cacao in this gorgeous dram.
Nose: Grassy malt, earthy vanilla, toasted coconut, and BBQ pineapple.
Palate: Vanilla, subtly floral with salted butter on toasted teacakes, ripe pear, and peach.
Finish: Lingering peat smoke and subtle baking spice warmth.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
