They only produce this Chianti Classico Gran Selezione in outstanding vintages. When they do make Riserva Ducale Oro, they start by harvesting the grapes by hand, mostly from their Gretole estate in the Chianti Classico appellation. The vineyard lots are vinified individually to preserve their specificity to the land. They age the wine in oak, stainless steel, and concrete vats for 36 months, twelve months longer than required by Italian law. The wine then spends additional months in the bottle before release.
Nose: Cherry, plum, violet, tobacco, chocolate, cinnamon, and black pepper.
Palate: Full-bodied and very fruity, with tannins and sweet tobacco.
Finish: Long with plums and clove.

A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
