Rabble Rouser is the latest rye whiskey offering from Catoctin Creek. Distilled from 100% rye and bottled in bond, the Rabble Rouser differs from its cousin, Roundstone Rye, in that it is distilled at a lower proof, allowing for lots of earthy goodness from the grain to come through in the spirit. It is aged four years, which is twice the legal age requirement for "straight rye whiskey."
Nose: The scent comes on with dill and cookie spices first, followed by a spoonful of brown sugar, then some musty old wood and pine needles underneath.
Palate: A sip reveals a whiskey that is deeply spicy, albeit mildly and pleasantly so. A moderate dollop of ginger and pepper is rounded out with cinnamon, cardamom and sweetened just a touch with vanilla.
Finish: Briefly spicy, but this fades fast and leaves behind that musty wood from the nose.

A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
