Melrose incorporates a rye mash bill first matured in an American white oak barrel that has been air-dried for 2 years, then lightly toasted and charred. Melrose is finished to perfection in carefully hand selected Amarone wine casks that reflect truly exotic woods. This attention to detail helps create a unique and rich taste legendary to J.W. Kelly’s timeless reputation. The distinct aging process that Melrose undergoes adds spicy and dry flavors, heightens notes of cherry and cinnamon, and creates an all-new experience for rye whiskey connoisseurs.
Nose: Spicy, and slightly tangy scent with a touch of vanilla and dried stone fruit.
Palate: Sweet caramel sauce with light smoke, cherry, cinnamon, and hints of dried fruit.
Finish: Sweet finish with flavors of raisin, molasses, and oak.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
