Part of a broader project with like minded distillers throughout the state, Kings County Empire Rye whiskey is our entry into a new rye whiskey category that is derived from New York's whiskey heritage exclusively by and for New York distillers. Ours is made from 80% New York grown Danko rye and 20% English barley malt and is aged at least 2 years in charred oak barrels. This is a more flavorful rye than its commercial peers. Released at 102 proof, this is a potent entry into a much-loved category. With multiple superlative awards and warm commentary from traditional whiskey critics, this whiskey appears once a year and goes fast.
Nose: Sweet tea, maple, mint, dill, and a hint of dessert spread.
Palate: Blueberry crumble, cherry tart, and candied ginger with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Warm, spicy, and rounded finish of warm bread and holiday spice.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
