New Riff Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey Sour Mash is an excellent example of American rye whiskey. It’s made using a “sour mash” process that ferments the grains with the enzymes and yeasts that are already in the grains themselves. The whiskey is aged for four years in 53-gallon American Oak barrels, giving it a light golden color and the flavor of oak as well as cinnamon, vanilla, and baking spice notes. The whiskey is bottled at 100 proof, making it strong and flavorful, but still smooth enough to enjoy neat or on the rocks. This is an excellent whiskey for those who want to explore the world of American rye and for those who appreciate classic American whiskey.
Nose: Nougat confection, black pepper, clove, grains of paradise, and pink peppercorn.
Palate: Broad, sweet-spicy-savory mouthfeel with floral rose and red fruit notes.
Finish: Fine length and detail, showing potent rye spices which lingers.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
