Utilizing superior barrels of American rye whiskey from our Bardstown warehouse’s vintage cask collection, each barrel in Very Olde St Nick Summer Rye is at least five (5) summers old, with whiskey that is uncut, unfiltered, and bottled at cask strength, 117-119º. These barrels were selected before the heat of the summer could get an even larger angel’s share. From that came the name “Summer Rye”, originating from the Japanese word “Samurai”, an elite force of military nobility known for being masterful strategists.
Nose: Caramel, vanilla, spicy rye, oak, and a hint of summer fruits.
Palate: Rye spice, cigar smoke, juicy fruit gum, caramel, and oak.
Finish: A long and warming finish with a lingering barrel char note.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
