Bruichladdich's Black Art series shines a spotlight on some of the Islay distillery's most intriguing whisky – but it doesn't shine a spotlight on its recipe. The casks this expression matured in are known to master distiller Adam Hannett, but that information is unknown to us. What we do know, however, is that it's a 29 year old single malt, distilled back in 1992, before Bruichladdich was closed in the mid-1990s (to be reopened in 2001). Mysterious and delicious!
Nose: Tropical fruit, coconut, tobacco, oak spices and toasted pine. Hints of mango, honey-drizzled melon, warm orange zest, grilled pineapple and ripe summer strawberries. Mouth-wateringly succulent and fruity – the gentle oak offering coconut, ginger, buttery shortbread, vanilla custard and hints of tobacco.
Palate: Notes of tobacco and brown sugar, chocolate and coconut provide the base for all those wonderful fruit combinations to shine. The succulent fruit sweetness lasts for an age on the palate.
Finish: Smooth and lingering finish with apricot, mango and baked banana, toasted sweet oak, honey and vanilla.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
