The beginning of this legacy is born from the red Earth of Jesus Maria, in the highlands of Jalisco. 1940 blanco delivers a balanced profile that is very clean, crisp, and easy to sip. Both the aroma and taste are an excellent example of a highlands tequila. The agave is cooked in an ancestral type of masonry oven for 30 hours in direct contact with steam and continues cooking for another 24 hours for clow cooking down and rest on the pina. This slow cooking of the agave heads ensures a uniform cooking of the plant that gives the beverage more complex aromas and flavors. From there the agave is milled and fermented for 78 hours until the fermentation reaches the desired richness, then double distilled in stainless steel stills.
Nose: Herbal notes and sweet agave.
Palate: Fresh agave, citrus fruits, touch of mint and eucalyptus.
Finish: Clean, crisp and smooth.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
