Speyside's Glenfiddich Distillery looked to France for the inspiration for Grande Couronne. The 26 year old single malt was initially matured in both American and European oak casks, before it was moved to French oak ex-Cognac casks for a lengthy 2 year finishing period. Something you don't see every day, it's brilliantly decadent stuff, presented in an appropriately embellished bottle and presentation box.
Nose: Toasty oak sweetness. Reminiscent of a French pâtisserie, freshly-baked Tarte Tatin and buttery choux pastry.
Palate: Café crème with soft brown sugar and a hint of spice.
Finish: Very long-lasting sweet oak.

A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
