Released as part of the Mystery Malt series from Murray McDavid comes Safe Haven! A six-year-old single malt from an undisclosed distillery, we don't even know the region it hails from, so it really is quite mysterious. What we do know is, that the whisky was distilled in 2014, matured in bourbon hogsheads, and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks before bottling. It has a distinctly peaty character with plenty of smoke which could help provide a clue, and will certainly make an enjoyable dram for any peat lover.
Nose: Hot ashy peat, candied fruits, and cloves.
Palate: Fruity, hickory smoke, and sweet oak spice.
Finish: Long, smoky oak with a gentle spice.

A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
