We like to think this would make the residents of Templeton, Iowa during Prohibition – themselves making whiskey and hiding it in basements – quite proud. Today, our rye is made a little differently. With a 95% rye / 5%malted barley mash bill, it’s aged in new American oak barrels with flavors inspired by the whiskey made by Templeton bootleggers a century ago. In the same town, with the same strong spirit. An outlet for innovation, the limited-release cask finish series offers an annual unique twist on what rye can be. The Stout Cask Finish is release number 4 in the Cask Finish series, a limited edition not to be missed! Originally matured to perfection for six years in American oak flame-charred barrels and expertly finished in bourbon barrel-aged chocolate coffee stout casks for three months.
Nose: Roasted chocolate, creamy cocoa, and dried apricot.
Palate: Malt, roasted barley, cherry, toasted almonds, coffee, pepper, and spice.
Finish: A long decadent finish with creamy roasted coffee and cocoa.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
