The Matsui is Kurayoshi Distillery's line of exceptional Single Malt. The range also includes a whiskey-based Umeshu. The Matsui Sakura Cask is a Single Malt distilled by Kurayoshi Distillery, located in Tottori Prefecture. The Matsui Single malt is aged in Sakura casks, the famous and iconic Japanese cherry tree. This tree holds an important place in Japanese culture, often used as a metaphor to underline the ephemeral nature of beauty but also of life. It has always been a source of inspiration for Japanese artists. Double distilled in Pot Still and then aged in Sakura casks in Tottori Prefecture, in a natural environment conducive to aging, this whisky is then reduced with natural spring water from Mount Daisen. Nose: Rich, gourmet with white flower and soft notes of vanilla and cinnamon.
Palate: Baking spices and citrus followed by spring blossom.
Finish: A lingering, floral finish.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
