The embodiment of traditional mezcal. Straight or mixed, the balance of smoke and sweetness mark the start to your mezcal adventure. Wahaka Espadín agave is exclusively grown and tended on our own estate. Agave type: Estate-farmed Espadín harvested after 7-8 years. Soil/habitat: Varied soils, terrains, and altitudes. Cultivated in San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca in the district of Tlacolula. Cooked for 3-5 days in an earthen pit using ocote (pine) wood. Crushed in tahona (circular millstone) Fermentation: 10-12 days in pine vats with wild (natural) yeast. Twice distilled in copper stills.
Nose: Shoe leather, watermelon sweet but a tad musty.
Palate: Smoky, candy-sweet, earthy, and some minerality.
Finish: Smooth and crisp finish.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
