A few years ago, Trey was out with a few friends and Chef Edward Lee. As they began to order some different dishes for dinner, he and Edward started talking about the pairing of bourbon and food, specifically spicier dishes like his Korean Fried Chicken. The group started tasting bourbons together with food and realized that they really liked the notes that were brought out in each one. They knew they had a good idea. Over the next 9 months, Trey and Edward would get together and try his food along with a number of different bourbon recipes, trying to marry them together to get the right flavors for the recipe. They couldn’t find exactly what they were looking for until Trey picked up a bottle of Jefferson’s Rye and decided to mix it with one of our straight bourbon offerings. The combination of bourbon and rye became a perfect combination of fruit flavors up front and the spice of the rye at the end.

Nose: Cherry and oak aromas and a hint of raw Rye spices in the background.

Palate: Fruity, soft and smooth with peaches, buttery oaky notes, and rye.

Finish: Spicy and warm mediate finish with rye.

Note:  Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.

A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments. 

B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage. 

C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling. 

D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded. 

E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order. 

F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery. 

G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
