Pechuga mezcal is an age-old tradition among mezcal producers throughout Mexico. It is produced in tiny amounts for friends and family on very special occasions with the exact recipes closely-guarded family secrets. For Del Maguey, their Pechuga production starts with the finished Del Maguey Minero Mezcal which gets returned to the pot-still with a mix of wild mountain apples, plums, plantains, pineapples, almonds, white rice. A raw, skinless chicken breast is used to hang above the still for the distillate to travel through.
Nose: Apple peel, smoke, orange peels, parsley and soft smoke.
Palate: Rustic and full with hints of lavender, agave nectar.
Finish: Good length, smouldering wood ashes on the tail.

A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
