Dictador 1978 2 Masters Château D'Arche is a molasses rum from Colombia. In its 2 Masters series, Dictador brings together the skills of cellar masters from around the world, united on the occasion of a vintage. In this case, Hernan Parra, Dictador's cellar master, chose to share a very old barrel of rum distilled in 1978. After 39 years of ageing in bourbon barrels, it was sent to the Bordeaux region to be matured for 12 months in American oak barrels from the Quintessence cooperage. This barrel, which had previously housed a Sauternes Premier Cru, was chosen by Jérôme Causson, cellar master at Château d'Arche.
Nose: Vanilla crème brulée, dark caramel-coated chocolate and dried fruits including figs, dates and quince, then hints of toasted bread and orange rind.
Palate: Marzipan, dried apricots and cloudberry marmalade over maple syrup, milk chocolate and crème brulée.
Finish: Long lasting, fruit cake with hints of toast.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
