It’s impossible to over-emphasize the incredible attention to detail and quality in making Corte Vetusto Mezcal Espadin. The Espadin agave plants are collected using hand tools and slow-roasted in a conical, earthen oven for three to five days using mesquite wood. Then the piñas are slowly crushed using a tahona made of volcanic stone and naturally fermented in wooden vats. The Spirit is then double-distilled in 250L copper pot stills. And since Juan Carlos wants you to taste the full flavor of his signature Spirits, it is bottled at 44% ABV.
Nose: Smoky notes of Iberico ham, cracked black pepper, raisins, a hint of grape must, and brown sugar.
Palate: Creamy mouth-feel and notes of everything smoked - woods, flowers, honey, herbs, and more.
Finish: Lingering with notes of butterscotch, spice and dried fruits.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
