This sustainably harvested agave Angustifolia, commonly known as maguey Espadín, is all estate grown in the central valleys of Oaxaca in San Juan del Rio. Typically it takes this agave 7-9 years to reach maturity and and it requires 7-10kg of agave to make 1 liter of mezcal. Mezcal de Leyendas takes their social and environmental responsibilities very seriously implementing fair trade practices, and practicing agave sustainability. Their small batch mezcals hail from the several different mezcal-producing states.
Nose: Hints of lemon grass and fresh herbs.
Palate: Caramelized fruit and notes of citrus.
Finish: Bright, with citrus and herbaceous undertones.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
