The Sazerac 18-year-old is a straight rye whiskey that pays tribute to the Sazerac name. It's a very mature whiskey with deep oak, leather, and spice notes. The 2019 release saw the expression earn "Best Rye Whiskey Aged 11 Years and Over" by Jim Murray's Whisky Bible. The 2020 continues in the same fashion. The barrels were filled in 2002 and the whiskey was bottled at 90 proof in 2020. The famed Sazerac Coffee House was founded in New Orleans in 1850 and soon became known as the home of “America’s First Cocktail,” the Sazerac. Using rye whiskey (in place of French brandy), a dash of Peychaud’s Bitters, and Herbsaint, what eventually became the official cocktail of New Orleans was created. This straight rye has a mellow spice and dry sweetness that dances on the tongue, giving pure delight that is worthy of the Sazerac name.
Nose: Allspice, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, oak, and dried fruit.
Palate: Burnt caramel, dried herbs, black pepper, leather, and dill pickle.
Finish: Long, warm with mint, eucalyptus, cinnamon, vanilla, and pepper.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
