Distillation was done in the German tradition: a primary distillation in a column still (including the grist), followed by a second distillation in a small copper pot still. The alcohol content was reduced to 60% before entering casks. The spirit was first aged for at least 4 years in ex-Bordeaux American oak casks before spending another 4+ years in 1st and 2nd fill Cream Sherry casks. This 2021 release is a blend of 8-9 year old whiskies that were distilled in 2012 and 2013.
Nose: Black Forest gateaux, Nutella, sesame bars, freshly ground spices, and tobacco.
Palate: Toffee, dark fruit, treacle sponge, pepper, spices, and leather, with black currant, bramble and black cherry.
Finish: Smooth finish.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
