8 year old single malt from an undisclosed Islay distillery, bottled independently by the folks at Chapter 7, as part of their Chronicle range. Matured for the first five years in bourbon hogsheads, the whisky is then transferred to first fill bourbon barrels for the final three, to impart layer upon layer of bourbon cask character, which perfectly compliments the classic, peaty Islay profile.
Nose: Vanilla and peat, foam bananas with wafts of candied oranges.
Palate: Somewhat zesty, hints of lime and sweet orange cross with butter vanilla fudge and peat smoke.
Finish: Fresh oak, floral wafts of burnt lavender, sweet, creamy vanilla, and medium peat.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
