This 10-year-old gold kosher slivovitz represents the continuation of gold slivovitz production in Vizovice. The idea of making gold slivovitz first came about as a result of the Jelínek brothers’ experience with brandy production, which they started in 1923 in collaboration with the French cognac maker Denis Mounié. Only the highest-quality hand-harvested plums are used for production. This is followed by the triple distillation of a ripe plum mash under the supervision of a representative of the Jewish Orthodox Union. The spirit is then aged for 10 years under carefully controlled conditions, in a range of temperatures and with alternating exposure to air, which affects the resulting color, flavor, and aroma. Its bottling is also supervised by a rabbi.
Nose: Fruity, fresh, notes of plums, and brandy.
Palate: Soft, fresh, clean, plums, cognac, and oak barrels.
Finish: Long lasting.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
