Aquilino Garcia Lopez has made the Vago Espadin for many years, but as of late 2016, Vago began releasing small batches of Espadin from another mezcalero named Don Joel Barriga Aragon. Joel is Aquilino’s cousin and his family has also been making mezcal for many generations. Aquilino worked with Joel for several months to ensure that Joel’s mezcal Espadin would be similar to his own. Vago is bringing in Don Joel (and his son, Adan) so that Aquilino can focus more on Vago Elote and other more rare small batch mezcals. Emigdio Jarquin also produces Espadin for Vago. Check your bottle for details on which mezcalero made yours.
Nose: Sweet potatoes, citrus, and flint.
Palate: Anise, bananas and plantains with caramel.
Finish: Long, woody finish.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
