Named after the father of Japanese whisky and the founder of Nikka, Masataka Taketsuru. You know you have a quality product when the company names its product after its founder. Along with the Yoichi, this is Nikka’s top brand. Strictly selected from among the malts, and distilled and matured for 10 years or more at the Yoichi distillery – the birthplace of Nikka Whisky – this single malt whisky is characterized by the fragrance of aged casks, a mellow well-rounded palate, and a bold, powerful taste.
Nose: Peach, vanilla custard, malt, peat smoke, and a hint of nutmeg spice.
Palate: Oily and sweet, with peat smoke, cut orchard fruits, vanilla, and tobacco.
Finish: Lingering oak finish with hints of spice.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
