Ponzi Vineyards, established in 1970, is considered one of the founding Willamette Valley wineries. Ponzi's single vineyard Pinot Noir wines have been critically acclaimed, but Pinot Gris and Chardonnay further key grapes, while Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Arneis and Dolcetto also feature. Still, dry wines are the focus but sweet and sparkling wines are made in small volumes. The company owns or manages 175 acres (71 hectares) of vineyards, mostly on the north slope of the Chehalem Mountains AVA. Here the soils are exclusively the Laurelwood type, with a volcanic basalt base topped with ice-age wind blown sediments. They are iron-rich and very suited to the production of Pinot Noir.
Nose: Ripe raspberry and black cherry, lavender, sage, rosemary, and black tea.
Palate: Roasted coffee, bittersweet chocolate, ancho, and candied citrus.
Finish: Long with chalky tannins.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
