The Plata by Porfidio has been created with the blue agave purist in mind and bottled fresh after distillation without the presence of wood aromas. Specifically, the spirit is not naturally mellowed through a multi-year process of wood barrel aging and therefore preserved in its original state. It has a greatly reduced methanol content, which results in added smoothness. This is caused by cold-pressed agave juice, rather than hot-pressed agave juice so that the hydrolization process can happen enzymatically. This is a versatile and un-aged distilled spirit.
Nose: Subtle sweetness and ripe agave notes.
Palate: Bright and fresh with a balanced citrus and earthy flavors with heat.
Finish: Super clean and a wonderful aftertaste.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
