Vieux Pontarlier is craft-distilled in Pontarlier, France, the historic “Capital of Absinthe.” Select botanicals and Pontarlier-grown wormwood, which is considered the finest in the world, are distilled in a chardonnay grape base spirit from Burgundy. Vieux Pontarlier was developed over a period of five years at one of the two last remaining absinthe distilleries still functioning in Pontarlier, using the distillery’s original, pre-ban logbook notes and antique alembic stills designed specifically for making absinthe. 65% ABV
Nose: Fresh, slightly briny, and spicy with lightly mentholated and cacao notes.
Palate: Subtle herbal, sweet anise & fennel seed, mint, and wormwood.
Finish: Finishes with a touch of anise and fennel.

Note: Once an order has been safely & successfully delivered, we do not accept returns due to change of heart or taste. Due to state regulations, we cannot accept the return of alcohol purchased by a customer in error.
A. The Cork & Mash Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Cork & Mash does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Cork & Mash is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Cork & Mash damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
